The Scepter of Karanishma was a Force Artifact dating from back before the Great War, which enabled its user to see into the future. It consisted of a large red crystal set into a gold staff, just under a meter in length.

Though many futures were always possible, the scepter was said to be much more accurate than any other known method. However, it was much more than a predictor of what was to come. The scepter allowed the user to search for and located a specific person, object, or event anywhere within the universe. It could also tell its user how to attain the object of their search, or how to obtain a particular objective. There were other legendary powers that the scepter was rumored to have as well, but were never confirmed or put into test after the scepter was locked away in the treasure vaults in the Royal Palace on Varnus.
